Best ever experience in renting a car. Basically wanted a « major » but saw advice to go for a local rental company. And of the locals The Best Cars Crete came out as No 1. Nice welcome mail explaining how to get to the car (easy). Fully insured, no pushy sales behaviour on arrival for extra extra insurances GPS etc etc. Just friendly explaining how car works etc. Nice mail day before drop off explaining where to fill up and drop off instructions. Again easy and simple. Highly recommend The Best Cars and thanks to them once again.

Highly recommended car rental company in Crete! The rental station is only about a 1-minute walk from the airport exit. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the friendly employee (probably the owner), a native German speaker, who was already waiting for us with two chilled bottles of water. Picking up the car was completely straightforward. The vehicle matched the description perfectly, and we even received a short, helpful briefing. Everything was quick, friendly, and professional. Returning the car was also extremely easy: we simply dropped the keys into the rental station's mailbox. No stress and no long waits. On top of that, the price was really good, cash payment was accepted, all insurance was already included, and no deposit was required – which is truly not something you can take for granted these days.If I'm ever in Crete again, I would book here again without hesitation!
