Hello.This was my first time in Crete, and I had been thinking about whether and, more importantly, from whom I should rent a car!Having rented cars in other countries before, I can honestly say that Teh Best Cars lives up to its name!I was able to quickly clarify some questions I had beforehand via email, and the process of renting and handing over the vehicle was incredibly straightforward and fast.I received the exact car I had rented, which isn't always the case, and it was in perfect condition, both technically and visually! Returning it was just as perfect.Fill it up, park it, hand over the keys, and you're done!The car wasn't even inspected because it's fully insured, so any scratches or dents, etc., are irrelevant.Furthermore, the rental company didn't try to sell me any additional insurance on-site!The price and service are excellent, and communication was great too, since the owner, Martin, comes from my beautiful neighboring country, Austria!I got the car exactly as I had booked it, which isn't always the case, and it was in perfect condition, both technically and visually! I can absolutely recommend The Best Cars, and anyone who rents a car there in the future will agree with my assessment.Regards, Roman

Overall I was very impressed with the quality of this service. Close to airport arrivals. Clear policies on pricing and insurance. Clean, good ad reliable car.We were greeted with warm welcome and the rental documents were signed quickly and without a long wait or sitting in lines. No hustle over extras or other unplanned expenses.I would use this services again! 10/10.
Best ever experience in renting a car. Basically wanted a « major » but saw advice to go for a local rental company. And of the locals The Best Cars Crete came out as No 1. Nice welcome mail explaining how to get to the car (easy). Fully insured, no pushy sales behaviour on arrival for extra extra insurances GPS etc etc. Just friendly explaining how car works etc. Nice mail day before drop off explaining where to fill up and drop off instructions. Again easy and simple. Highly recommend The Best Cars and thanks to them once again.
The best car rental company on the island – as the name suggests – with no deposit, no hidden costs or other gimmicks, but with first-class service and extremely friendly staff. We've been customers for almost 15 years, and there's never been even the slightest problem. A clear recommendation.

Highly recommended car rental company in Crete! The rental station is only about a 1-minute walk from the airport exit. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the friendly employee (probably the owner), a native German speaker, who was already waiting for us with two chilled bottles of water. Picking up the car was completely straightforward. The vehicle matched the description perfectly, and we even received a short, helpful briefing. Everything was quick, friendly, and professional. Returning the car was also extremely easy: we simply dropped the keys into the rental station's mailbox. No stress and no long waits. On top of that, the price was really good, cash payment was accepted, all insurance was already included, and no deposit was required – which is truly not something you can take for granted these days.If I'm ever in Crete again, I would book here again without hesitation!
