As always, we booked our Crete trip with The Best Cars. As a long-time Crete veteran, they're the best car rental company with great prices and the best service before and during our trip.We had to pick up the car at night due to a flight delay, but the self-pickup option made it easy. Of course, as always, they had water on board, so we could get going right away.We had a Fiat Qubo, which was an absolute space miracle for the five of us, including the kids.We were extremely happy with our little white runabout. It was a diesel, and its fuel efficiency was a real boon, especially with today's gas prices.Even when we returned the car, we had a friendly chat with your staff, and we felt very comfortable.Simply a fantastic team! Absolutely recommended! As agreed, I picked up a nearly new Fiat Panda Grande immediately after landing. The car was simply perfect for Crete. Not too big and not too small. The Fiat Panda reliably took us on a nearly 1500 km journey around the island. Thanks to the gravel insurance (essential!), we were able to drive to Balos without any problems. Many thanks to The Best Cars team for this 10 out of 10 rental car experience! I would definitely use them again!
I have always booked Rent-a-car through SIXT but for Crete I decided on The Best Rent-a-car. I have been renting cars for at least 20 years and I can say that they are better than SIXT. The car was completely clean, odorless and nicely prepared. The assistant at the airport was super friendly, she explained everything to us and helped us pick up the car. I can only wish for such service from others. If you are looking for a car for Crete, this is the best choice in my opinion and you should not be afraid that there is something hidden in the contract because everything is as you book.
