✅ What is Selfpickup?

Our Selfpickup Service allows you to pick up your rental car contactless at Heraklion Airport – even at night between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
You can collect your car independently, without waiting for our staff and without any extra night surcharges.

The key handover is handled via a secure PIN-code key box – fast, easy, and hassle-free.

📋 How Selfpickup Works at The Best Cars

  1. Book your vehicle as usual and select 10:45 PM as your pickup time.

  2. Write your actual arrival time and the note “Selfpickup” in the booking comments.

  3. Prepay the remaining balance. The €25 night fee will be automatically deducted.

  4. Send us the following data and documents:

    • Full driver details (name, date of birth, home address, local address in Crete, mobile number, ID/passport number, driving licence number, and issue date)

    • Photos of the driving licence (front and back) and passport/ID

    • If an additional driver is booked: also send their full details

  5. Upload or send the documents:

    • Secure upload via Tresorit Send

    • Or send via WhatsApp to Anna: +30 699 502 7342

  6. You will receive the rental contract for online signature via Xodo Sign.

  7. Once payment and the signed contract are complete, we’ll send you the PIN code for the key box at Heraklion Airport.

📌 Important Notes

  • Selfpickup is available exclusively at Heraklion Airport.

  • The vehicle can only be used with a valid original physical driving licence.

  • All documents must be submitted at least 24 hours before pickup.

  • Selfpickup is available only with full prepayment.
